Christmas 2022

We enjoyed Christmas Eve Mass this year watching Cecilia as an angel and Maeve singing in the 3rd and 4th grade choir. Afterwards we went to Aunt Laura and Uncle Jon's house for a Spaghetti dinner. 

Christmas morning was exciting as always! Maeve got a 3d printer pen, Cecilia got a watch, and Kyle got a car garage from Santa. We also enjoyed watching them give gifts to each other and to us from Santa's secret shop. That is always special to see the gift giving. 

They were good kids this year. So good that we hopped on a flight at 3pm that afternoon to London!

Christmas 2022 Activities

 There was no shortage of Christmas activities this year!

Some new ones included:

• Driving to Wisconsin to see Miracle at Big Rock lights 
• Cecilia singing Christmas Carols with the Daisies
• Cecilia and Maeve going to see the Nutcrack with grandma Jan with Brownies
• Disney on Ice
• Celebrating Christmas with gifts from Santa Secret Shop at Grandma Brigid and Grandpa Ed's house
• Grandma Brigid and Kate volunteering for Santa Secret Shop
  
• Christmas Cookies with Grandma Brigid
• Excelsior Christkindlsmarkt and saw Reindeer and Father Christmas
• The Grinch at the Children's Theater

And some continued traditions including:

• Lights at the Arboretum
• Visiting Santa Jon at Mall of America
• Gingerbread houses
• Celebrating Christmas with the Kirchners 
• Eric working the tree lot
• Christmas cookies with Grandma Jan
• Primrose Santa visit and breakfast
