Father's Day 2017

We enjoyed Father's Day weekend at home with our visitors, Grandma Brigid and Grandpa Ed. Eric enjoyed breakfast with Dad at school in the morning. The weekend consisted of eating lots of good food (Crawfish étouffée, seafood from Sea Salt eatery, Eric's BLT's, and Sebastian Joe's ice cream) and going to many parks. We brought Grandpa Ed to his first visit to Minnehaha Falls. It was a beautiful morning so we went to the park at the falls, took some pictures near the water and rented the big bike to ride around. Maeve and Cecilia loved it although Cecilia didn't enjoy the bike helmet. Cecilia did, however, enjoy the cake the Maeve and Mom made for Daddy Eric and Grandpa Ed but Maeve wouldn't try any of it. She decided to have candy instead. We also went to 2 parks near our house. Eric and Ed cleaned up some miscellaneous items around the house and hung pictures up. They also went to Verizon and upgraded their phones because Eric wanted to help with that. He can't ever pass up a good opportunity to do something with technology! It was a good Father's Day weekend.

Happy Father's Day to Eric, Ed, Steve and all of the other fathers in our family!!

Kirchner Family Yearbook 2016

Here's the Kirchner Family Yearbook for those who haven't seen it at our house yet! I finished it in January and forgot to post it. Need to start the new one for 2017.

14 months old

14 months old today!! Cecilia is finally consistently sleeping through the night. She is an early riser (5:30am - if we are lucky!) so we'll work on that but glad that we aren't waking up in the middle of the night anymore.

She's also walking a lot these days! She seems to want to walk more than crawl these days although isn't steady for too long. She's also going up and down stairs and giving kisses on demand!

Here are some walking videos:

We can't wait to enjoy more milestones! I'm sure we'll be seeing more teeth soon too as she is currently pushing through 2 of her molars - ouch!
