Cecilia lost her first tooth

The tooth fairy will need to visit again! This time it's for Cecilia - this 5 year old lost her 1st tooth tonight and she left the note outside her room as she doesn't want the tooth fairy to come inside. This tooth had been loose for several days and it just fell out easily tonight. Our little girl's baby smile is all gone!

Cecilia turns 5 in Florida

We were fortunate to travel for Spring Break this year to Grandma Jan and Grandpa Steve's new house in Ft Myers, Florida. It was a great time and happened to fall over Cecilia's Birthday and Easter. Cecilia enjoyed the time as she loves being outdoors and lucky for us it was unseasonably warm so she got lots of time in the pool. She also loves the beach so we spent 2 days - 1 afternoon in Naples on Vanderbilt beach and 1 morning visiting Will, Anne, and Andrew on Sanibel Island.

The other big change for Cecilia is that she is now wearing bifocals to hopefully continue to correct her Esotropia which she had surgery for a year and a half ago. We're hoping this works and she is doing such a great job wearing them (and is so cute too!).

Other highlights from the trip include: swimming, seeing family, ordering takeout, Mom and Dad getting away for a sunset walk on the beach, and playing with Abby and Grandma and Grandpa, and all of the Easter activities! Kyle made it through his first ear infection with tubes with some drops and an ear bandit for the pool, and Cecilia has her first wiggly tooth! The Easter Bunny also found us in Florida which was great but we had too much stuff to bring home so Grandpa and Grandma will have to bring it back with them. The plane ride was good as our kids did great - it was more stressful to be in the airport around adults that couldn't wear a mask as well as our 2 year old could. Hoping we all continue to stay healthy.
