Spring

Maeve has been busy working on art projects at school!  We thought we would share a 3 of them in honor of this beautiful SPRING weather we've experienced over the past 48 hours!  We think Maeve is starting to teethe as she is putting EVERYTHING in her mouth now.

We've got a busy spring ahead with lots of travel so Maeve is going to get plenty more time on the airplane in April and May (Boise, New Jersey, New Orleans).

Watch the video to see Maeve rolling over from her tummy to her back. You'll also see that Sadie wanted some attention :)

First Art Project

Here is Maeve's first art project from school. She finger painted on the apple and the worm. We are so proud :) On another note, she has slept through the night (from 8pm-5am) for the last two nights. We hope this trend continues. Yippee!

Maeve found her fingers

Maeve found her fingers last night and soothed herself to sleep. She was only up once last night and after two failed attempts with the pacifier, she found her fingers and fell right asleep. I hear that she takes after her Aunt Laura with the finger sucking. Aunt Laura happened to visit us on Sunday (along with Uncle Jon). Maybe she was giving Maeve pointers when I wasn't looking?! We'll see if she continues to suck her fingers.....Maeve's mom was a thumb sucker :)

Happy St. Patrick's Day

We were busy taking pictures this weekend in all of the Irish outfits that Grandma Jan bought Maeve. There is also a picture of Maeve in an Irish bonnet and blanket that Bernadette's boyfriend's mom sent us from Ireland. Sadie also felt left out again so she got in the photo shoot too. We enjoyed taking Maeve to her first Irish Pub - Cooper's in West End. She also rolled over for the first time on Sunday, the 16th. She rolled from her belly to her back! She's getting so big and we are enjoying watching her laugh, smile, and move around.

4 Months Old

Maeve has had a busy month. She started laughing and smiling a lot, she spent lots of time with Grandma and Grandpa Kirchner and Grandma Brigid, she took a bottle without fussing, and she started daycare. We are enjoying getting to know her personality more every day.

Family Walk!

Sunday afternoon family walk!  Finally mid 40 degree temperatures so we decided to put Maeve in the carrier and take her and Sadie on a walk!  Maeve must have enjoyed it because she's been asleep in the carrier on Dad's back ever since we got home!  Maeve can't wait to go outside and play!

Maeve's First Day of Daycare

Today was Maeve's first day at daycare. We dropped her off this morning around 7:45am. On the 5 minute car ride to daycare, Maeve fell asleep. So, we left her in her carseat to take a nap. It was good thing because she slept for 1 1/2 hours and only 30 minute naps in her crib for the rest of the day. Her teachers wrote us this nice note, sent us this picture of Maeve on her mat, and we got her daily report. She went in the stroller with her new friends down the hall (since it's still sub zero temperatures in March). She came home in a different outfit than we put her in this morning so we'd call that a successful day :)

On another note, Maeve slept through the night without a peep for the first time. She slept from 8:30pm to 6:15am. Mom and Dad could get used to that!
