A Week of Fun

Maeve had a fun week at school, the cabin, and at the Twins game. She received a cute letter at school this week showing that she is being nice to her friends. We have noticed that she is giving hugs when asked and saying so many new words every day. She's repeating almost everything she hears and when she sees some things she likes to call them by name like 'airplane,' 'banana,' 'sausage,' and most of the colors. Also on the post is a picture of her coloring at school when she dressed up as a cowgirl. She kept her bow in her hair all day which is hard to do. She definitely likes to do a lot of things herself right now.

This weekend we spent time at the cabin and then came home a little early to go to the afternoon Twins game. We enjoyed time at the cabin with Grandma and Grandpa Kirchner and Uncle Scott and Aunt Morgan. We also saw cousins Jack, Elizabeth, Aunt Marj and Grandma Millie. Grandma and Grandpa got Maeve a grill, and she enjoyed going into town to the Chief Wenonga days where she tried to play mini golf,  looked at the petting zoo, and watched her Uncle Scott and Dad race on a kid toy.

We enjoyed the "suite life" at Target Field where we watched the Twins lose to the Yankees. Kate received tickets from work so we hung out with her co-workers and families and Maeve liked to run up and down the hall, watch the game from the glass, and sit on the cushion seats.

We hope summer never ends!
