We had such a great time in Seattle this past August. The highlights include Alki Beach to go tidepooling, Bainbridge Island, Fremont locks, Green Lake and the fish market. We also enjoyed celebrating Ben's birthday with a Pinata. We also were able to meet up with Eric's cousins, Brent and Leslie, for dinner one night since they live north of Seattle where Brent works at Boeing. We stayed in a house in Fremont and the set up worked well for the kids. Very few houses have air conditioning in Seattle so we had to get used to that. We used all the fans to cool down as it was mid-80s. That, along with city living and finding a parking spot, reminded us all that we prefer to live in smaller cities or suburbs! The food and coffee was delicious but carting around 4 kids under 5 tested our patience at times. However, it was fun to see a new place and go somewhere that Anne and Sean could drive to.

New Orleans - Memorial Day Weekend
Always a great time visiting New Orleans. We enjoyed visiting friends and renting a house in Lakeview near most of them! Great food and company as always. We were able to meet new friends and I was able to see so many old friends. We enjoyed the Crawfish boil, Beignets and Snoballs! We miss it already and can't wait to get back.
Baby K #3
We're excited to announce that Baby #3 will be joining us in Mid-January! Make your guesses on the gender :)
Feel free to see if you find any differences in all 3 babies at 20 weeks (Maeve, Cecilia, and Baby #3)
And the different looks that I've had at 20 weeks!
Maeve and Cecilia share a room
The girls are now sharing a room and we transitioned Cecilia to a big girl bed. It's been about a month so far and we are working on improving her sleep habits! She mainly needs to learn how to self soothe without being rocked or rubbing her back. She's still up at least once a night but she's going to bed without a fight. We are hopeful that we can get her to sleep better over the next few months before Baby #3 arrives. Luckily Maeve has continued to be a rockstar sleeper and sleeps through most of it. They do wake each other up in the morning so we don't even make it until 6am most mornings! And to top it all off, Cecilia decided that she wouldn't nap anymore on the weekends so now Maeve isn't either!! We are pretty exhausted and just hoping this phase ends soon and we can get some full nights of sleep before the baby is here.

We're Back!
Hello everyone!
Apologies for the long delay since our last post! I was very busy converting our blog over to a different platform. Primary reason for the conversion was due to ongoing security concerns with the prior platform.
Many thanks to my brother-in-law Jon for his expertise related to the extremely lengthy and difficult conversion over to the new platform. Most importantly we were interested in retaining the existing content and text from all the information we had released to date!
I can say we were ~99.5% successful in that endeavor!!
Again, I couldn't have done it without Jon's assistance!
The new interface is far more user friendly so our hope is that posts happen more frequently and with images so you can catch a glimpse into our world! The new site should be mobile optimized as well - we'll be anxious to hear your feedback along the way!

Cecilia went potty on toilet for 1st time
Cecilia has been very interested in the potty lately. Tonight, before her bath, she managed to go potty on the toilet for the 1st time! We will keep working with her to make this a regular habit!
