Ed and Brigid were in Ft Myers for a conference so we headed there for a long weekend to be with them at Jan and Steve's house. We ate at a wonderful restaurant on the water and went to brunch in downtown Ft Myers. We also saw the destruction still from the hurricane a year ago that devastated Ft Myers and Sanibel! The kids got to dress up in their costumes and go Trunk or Treating where Jan and her friend, Pam, decorated the golf cart like a pirate ship. It was our 1st trunk of treat experience and the kids had so much fun but then couldn't wait to get back into the pool at nighttime!
