The kids finished another school year and it still flies by so fast. Middle school was a big learning curve year for Maeve but she did exceptionally well learning different teacher's styles, making new friends, and trying new sports. Cecilia enjoyed 4th grade even with a rowdy class and a substitute for the last month of school. Kyle enjoyed 1st grade and continued to enjoy learning and making new friends.
It's been a busy spring filled with sports and band and choir concerts!
Kyle enjoyed flag football! He even scored a game-winning touchdown.
Maeve had a co-ed ultimate frisbee league and volleyball.
Cecilia started another soccer season and won the volleyball championship.
Maeve's choir, Cecilia's choir and band, and Kyle's choir concert were all lovely!
When we weren't busy every night of the week in April and May with that, we also squeezed in an overnight camping trip for Maeve to Camp Foley where she got to try out her canoe she built with her class and Kyle had an overnight boy scout camp with Eric and Grandpa Steve joined in on the dinner festivities and got the tent all prepped.
Mother's Day was also squeezed in with wonderful Paella on the flat top and watching a movie while Eric cooked. And then end of the year poetry party for Kyle and a Hoover Dam presentation from Cecilia.
